How to Calculate Test Score

Test scoring is straightforward — divide correct answers by total questions, then multiply by 100:

Test Score = (Correct Answers ÷ Total Questions) × 100

Or equivalently: ((Total − Wrong) ÷ Total) × 100

Quick Example

A student takes a 40-question test and gets 5 wrong:
Correct = 40 − 5 = 35
Score = (35 ÷ 40) × 100 = 87.5%B+
