About College GPA Calculation
Your college GPA (Grade Point Average) is a standardized way to measure academic performance. Most colleges use a 4.0 scale, where an A is worth 4.0 points, a B is 3.0 points, and so on.
To calculate your GPA, each course grade is converted to a grade point value and multiplied by the number of credit hours for that course. These values are then added together and divided by the total number of credit hours.
